Air kelapa memiliki nilai produksi yang berhasil menarik pasar internasional. Pada tahun 2019-2020, Indonesia berhasil mengekspor air kelapa ke Singapura dan Inggris untuk kemudian diproduksi menjadi berbagai jenis makanan dan minuman. Di Indonesia sendiri, Sulawesi Utara menjadi daerah utama dalam kegiatan produksi air kelapa siap ekspor.
