The Indonesian pottery and ornamental ceramic industry sector has great a potential and opportunity to compete on the global levels.

Indonesia’s efforts in developing the pottery and decorative ceramics industry is supported by the availability of abundant raw materials. The materials in question include clay, feldspar, silica sand, dolomite, limestone, granite, and other natural resources. In addition, various unique Indonesian designs are produced by pottery craftsmen.

The products of this industry include plant pots, bath tubs, and jars with various size. The main export destination are, among others, the United States, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
